Cabot courses are designed for walking, inspired by our deep love of nature and the land itself. We are committed to providing a golf experience that allows guests to fully connect with the natural beauty of our surroundings. While we highly encourage walking, golf carts are available year round on Karoo, Roost, and The Squeeze. The Wedge is a walking only golf experience.
December 1st – March 31st: Forecaddie mandatory when taking a golf cart on Karoo and Roost
- Forecaddie optional the remainder of the year
Cart Fees:
- Karoo & Roost: $35 per player
- The Squeeze: $25 per player
Push carts are complimentary and available year-round.
Yes! Cabot Citrus Farms offers a premier caddie program. To elevate your round and get the most out of your game, we encourage you to utilize the expertise of our talented caddie yard. Forecaddies and bag carrier caddies are available. While forecaddies do not carry golf bags, they provide the entire group with course knowledge off the tee, strategy tips, and green reading, while also assisting with raking bunkers, tending pins, and navigating the course. Caddies are not permitted on The Squeeze or The Wedge.
Through October 31, 2026:
- Forecaddie: $35 per player paid in the golf shop + minimum recommended cash gratuity of $40 per player
- Bag Caddie: $75 per player paid in the golf shop + minimum recommended cash gratuity of $80 per player
November 1, 2026 onwards:
- Forecaddie: $40 + gratuity per player
- Bag Caddie: $100 + gratuity per player
Cabot Citrus Farms caddies are independent contractors. All payments are to be made in cash directly from the golfer to the caddie after the round.
Caddie Mandatory Period: From December 1st – March 31st annually, a caddie is mandatory for;
- All golfers with tee times before 10:00am on Karoo and Roost
- All golfers who are using a golf cart on Karoo and Roost
While we highly encourage the use of our caddie program, golfers who visit between April – November are welcome to request a caddie or play without one.
All caddie requests must be made at least 48 hours before your tee time by emailing Reservations.
Cabot Citrus Farms is open year-round, with the exception of our summer maintenance closure. For full details on our different seasons, please visit our Rates page.
Yes! Cabot Citrus Farms offers a complimentary shuttle service that runs regularly along Main Street, providing easy transportation between key areas of the property, including the golf courses, cottages, and dining outlets. If you need assistance getting to your tee time, just hop on the shuttle or ask a team member for help!
No, Cabot Citrus Farms welcomes golfers of all skill levels! There is no minimum handicap required to play our courses. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer to the game, our courses offer a variety of challenges and an unforgettable golf experience.
Cabot Citrus Farms remains open for play in light rain, but if the course is deemed unplayable due to severe weather (such as lightning or heavy rain), we will issue a prorated rain check based on the number of holes completed. Rain checks expire 1 year after the date of issue and can be used for a future round. Please visit the Golf Shop for assistance on the day of play.
Cabot Citrus Farms offers a range of challenges for every golfer. Our two 18-hole courses provide full-length rounds for those seeking a traditional golf experience, while our short courses offer a more accessible way to play.
The Squeeze, a 10-hole course, can be enjoyed in a much shorter time frame, and The Wedge, an 11-hole par-3 course, is designed for fun, fast play with just a few short clubs.
